Choose WordPress - or even Blogger
A simple solution that may even be the best solution is to use a blog for your website.
The easy and cheapest way (cheapest as in FREE) is to use blogger. Just go to www.blogger.com and sign up for an account, run through their short set up procedure - where you can pick your template - and then you are on you way.
But a better solution in my opinion is to use WordPress. It has become the standard in blogging scripts.
You still need to buy a domain name and get hosting, but after that it is very simple to set up your WordPress Blog. One tip - try to get a hosting account with a service called Fantastico - as it will help you keep the latest update of WordPress software running your blog.
One of the great things WordPress has added to its program is the ability to have the first page being static - rather than where you do your day to day blogging. This now allows you to have WordPress as your main business site (not that you couldn't before). You can also easily add new pages in the admin area of wordpress very easily.
And there are an amazing array of free WordPress themes available to give your site a look that is just perfect for your business.
